AIM OF THE COURSE
CARE Foundation, as a part of its academic activities started MSc in Hospital Administration for Nursing Graduates course with the following aim:
To help Nursing Graduates organize, control and manage hospitals; rehabilitate centres and medical practices in different health systems; and understand Macro- and Microeconomics of healthcare as well as trends in the international healthcare industry and their implications.

DURATION
MSc in Hospital Administration for Nursing Graduates is a 3 year study program
ELIGIBILITY
The MSc Hospital Administration is open to the nurses who have passed BSc (Nursing) from a recognized university.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The curriculum is structured around 4 Key Areas:
Organization, control and management of hospitals, rehabilitation centres and medical practices in different health systems, Macro- and Microeconomics of healthcare, Trends in the international healthcare industry and their implications.
Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Controlling, Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Market-orientated Hospital Management.
Quality and Process Management, inclusive a Six Sigma Healthcare Training, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, IT, Quality Management, Information and Knowledge Management.
Organisational Behaviour, Structure, Leadership, and Culture, Human Resources & Intercultural Management, Communications, Personal Build-up Training, Self -management.
COURSE CURRICULUM
Each area will be spread over 3 years in the form of one paper each. Each paper could have 4 modules and each module may be divided into 2 theoretical and 2 practical units.

EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS
The students passing out of the MSc program have various options and many job prospects apart from joining CARE.

Most Nursing Graduates do not have many options after completing their graduation. CARE in collaboration with NSOU has started this MSC for Nursing Graduates as a career advancement program.
