SCM Annual Meet Throws up Innovative Ideas

With the objective of realigning the unit Logistics and Purchase teams to the CARE Group’s policies and initiatives, as well as providing regular training to key associates, a Supply Chain Management workshop was organized from June 15-16 by the Corporate SCM team. The participants, including Unit Logistics and Purchase heads and associates from the Corporate SCM team, shared innovative ideas and ways to handle challenges. 

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chairman Dr N Krishna Reddy touched upon the Mission and Vision of the organization. Mr Haragopal emphasized the need to achieve financial targets in the current financial year, while Col Naresh Sharma (Retd), GM, Logistics discussed performance and improvements made by unit SCM teams.

A stimulating interaction with CFO Mr Markandeswara was followed by a motivating session on “Building Team Performance” conducted by CHR Col M Rajgopal (Retd). Of immense information were the talks delivered by Mr Rajeev Chourey, CHA, CARE Banjara on “Quality Parameters of NABH”, Mr Ravishanker, GM, IMA on “Audit Concerns and Ways to Address It” and Mr S V Balaji, CIO, on “HID Initiatives”. A special lecture by Mrs Indira Priyadarshini, Drug Inspector, Drug Control Department, Telangana State, helped the audience understand statutory compliance issues. This was the first of its kind interaction with the drug control officials.
