Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Units are customized to effectively manage a range of specialised problems. The Critical Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is equipped with computerized bedside monitoring facility. Cardiac surgery and cardiology patients are provided with specialized beds in post-operative units.

Catheterization lab

The Cineless Cardiac Catheterisation Lab at CARE Hospitals enables highly qualified interventional cardiologists to perform complex cardiac procedures effectively, with pinpoint accuracy and the minimum amount of radiation. The hospital also has an active Paediatric Cardiac Intervention facility.

The Cardiac Surgery Services offer treatment for all types of surgically repairable heart diseases — from coronary bypass surgery in the elderly to congenital heart diseases in infants and children (1 to 2 weeks old – 18 years of age). The cardiothoracic team also performs cardiac transplantations and is a leader in cardiac surgery, with an enviable success rate of over 99%.

Dialysis

The Department of Nephrology, in association with the Department of Urology, has given new hope to patients suffering from renal failure. The department is staffed by highly professional nephrologists and trained dialysis technicians and nurses, capable of taking complete care of routine and emergency patients. In addition to routine haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) is also offered to patients.

Other Facilities
  • Admission, on the day of arrival, is assured on priority for outstation patients.
  • One attendant is provided accommodation, free of cost, with the patient in the hospital wards.
  • An in-house Food and Beverage Department, with a cafeteria, caters to the requirements of patients and their family members.
  • On prior intimation, patients can be picked up from the railway station or airport.

Emergency Room

The Emergency Room is equipped with the best facilities. It has five beds in the Casualty room, which generally treats cardiac cases. The room has been designed to have a close semblance to an ICCU for the patients’ requirements. Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day.
