Chief of CT Surgery in Myanmar Delivers Talk on Cardiovascular Diseases

Brig Gen Tin Aye, Chief of CT Surgery in Myanmar gave a talk on cardiovascular diseases and surgeries in his country. The enlightening session, held at CARE Banjara on 3rd June, highlighted the close similarities in the culture and demographics of both nations. He spoke of the healthcare facilities in Myanmar and measures taken to improve the healthcare delivery system over the years.

Brig Tin talked of CARE Hospitals’ support in training surgeons and nurses from Myanmar, sent by him, who continue to be part of his team. He thanked Dr B Soma Raju, Dr P Krishnam Raju, Prof Arun K Tiwari and CARE Foundation for the support and dedication.

Concluding the program Dr P Krishnam Raju spoke of the close association between the two nations, politically and culturally. Brig Tim presented the Chairman & Managing Director and the senior fraternity precious rubies from Myanmar.
