A. You are required to deposit the complete estimated amount of surgery before the operation.

Q. What are the class wise deposits?
A. You are required to deposit the following amounts as per the bed category at the time of admission.

Q. What are the charges for Day Care?
A. Charges applicable for Day Care (less than 8 hours) are Half day bed charges.
Q. After booking for operation, can I make cancellation?
A. Yes, you can get the authority letter from your consultant / surgeon of medical fitness who is the only authority to cancel the operation. Please contact admission counter for this procedure.
Q. What is the mode of admission?
A. You are required to contact the admission counter for the admission. Our executives will give you the details about the bed category available and the charges. After the confirmation of bed category, you will be given an IP number. On completion of admission formalities, you will be guided to the respective ward/ room.
Q. Are there any financial formalities to be completed?
A. Yes, patient is required to pay deposits as per the category of bed at the time of admission and in case of surgery/ procedure the total estimated cost has to be deposited before the surgery.
Q. What is the mode of payment?
A. Patients can deposit the payment by cash or demand drafts. No cheques are accepted.
Q. Is my mediclaim policy accepted at your hospital?
A. Yes provided your TPA is on panel of our hospital.
Q. Do you provide ambulance service?
A. Yes, we provide ambulance service round the clock. Please contact the admission counter on 3982444 for ambulance.
Q. What are the visiting hours?
A. Our visiting hours are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. These timings are strictly followed for patient’s convenience.
Q. How many attendant passes do you issue?
A. To control the crowd & noise, in the patient area, we issue only one pass for an attendant which is to be surrendered at the admission counter at the time of discharge.
Q. What is the procedure for Discharge?
A. Your consultant will make entry of discharge in your case sheet. After this, the resident doctors prepare the discharge card. Then the file is sent to the IP pharmacy for clearance, after which the final bill is prepared taking into account all the deposits. When the final bill is received payment has to be made at the admission counter. This complete procedure may take about 5 – 6 hours.
Q. Is food from outside allowed?
A. We provide complementary food for patient from hospital kitchen. However patients can bring food from home if desired.
Q. What is the procedure for refund?
A. Documents required for refund-
i. Final Bill (Original)
ii. Receipts of all payments
iii. Checkout slip.
Q. What are the rules for transferring patients to higher category?
A. Transfer to a higher category will be done based on the availability of beds. The rates of the category transferred to will be applicable from the date of transfer. In case of packages, for transfer to a higher category the total difference in the package charge has to be paid before transfer.
Q. What is the system of billing?
A. Billing is done on a 24 hour basis.
Q. When a patient is shifted from a lower category to a higher one, charges of which category will be taken?
A. When a patient occupies more than one category of bed on a single day, he will be billed as per the higher one provided patient has occupied it for about 3 hours during the 24 hour block.
Q. How do I get discharge summary?
A. Your summary report or discharge card will be given to you by the nursing staff at the time of discharge. In case there is delay in the preparation of discharge card, it will be mailed to you within a week from your discharge.
Q. Can we buy medicines or consumables from outside?
A. All medicines are provided by the Hospital Pharmacy only.
Q. Do you have Telephone facilities for the patients in the hospital?
A. Yes, telephone connections are provided in all wards and rooms to facilitate communication. Patients can be directly contacted in their room by dialing 3982 followed by the room number. For example: for room no. 301, you can call that room directly by dialing 3982301. In case of doubt contact our operator at 3982222.
