Making Learning Fun

The third session of Unnati from 14 -17 June comprised a theatre-based activity, facilitated by Mr Ratna Sekhar Reddy of Samahaara, a theatre group. The program began with a game of imaginary volleyball with the learning of `listening to understand´. The theme of the other activities was centered around building effective teams. Scenario based skits were performed and the technique of impromptu theatre was used. The program helped associates to open up for the first time and overcome stage fear. The `trust fall´ activity helped develop trust, while the street fight scenario had many in splits, when the `actors´ exchanged dialogues. Earlier, on 25th June, Col M Rajgopal (retd), CHR, had visited Ramkrishna CARE Raipur and conducted a training session in typical gurukul style.
