Dr. G Venkatesh Babu is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the department of plastic surgery at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills. He has more than 22 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery and is considered the best plastic surgeon in Hyderabad. He completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College, Karnataka (2003). Further, he completed his MS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, Karnataka (2007). Later, he did his MCh (Bedah Plastik) from the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad (2010). 

He is a multilinguistic consultant plastic surgeon and trained in providing various treatments for facial cleft, microvascular problems, and hand and limb trauma surgeries. 

As far as his past experiences are concerned, he has worked as a Senior Resident in Plastic Surgery at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad (2010 - 2011). He joined as a Junior Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad (2011 - 2012). Later, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Bedah Plastik dan Rekonstruksi at the Deccan Medical College, Hyderabad (2011 – 2012).
