Wonders of Hands Competition @ CARE Hi-tech

CARE Hospitals, Hi-tech City organized a poster competition “Wonders of Hands” for school children on 15th August 2016, in association with “The Hindu”.. More than 200 students participated in the competition and made beautifully imaginative posters on road safety. The Chief Guests were Mr Rajanna, Vice President, Tata Consultancy Services and Dr Avani Rao Gandra, artist, writer and curator.; was also the judge of the competition. In the junior category, Areebah Fathima of class 8, MS Creative School was awarded the first prize, Harshini Akode of class 7, Sister Nivedita School and Dibya Dwibedi of class 3, Oasis School were awarded the second and third prize. In the senior category, Mohammed Shoeb of class 9, MS Creative Tolichowki Boys School was awarded the first prize and Muzammil Nisa of class 8 and Norain Nafees of class 7, MS Creative High School were awarded the second and third prize.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajeev Menon, Medical Director, CARE Hospitals, Hi-tech City said, “Such events taken up as part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility efforts are essential.” He said more events to help children learn about live saving techniques would be taken up.
