Business students from Johns Hopkins at CARE Hospitals

A batch of students from Carey Business School, Johns Hopkins University, USA, visited CARE Hospitals as part of its course curriculum. The students were visiting leading hospital set-ups in various countries for field exposure to understand healthcare models across the globe. CARE being one of its kind, in terms of patient care and legacy, was chosen by the students to understand the Inventory Management System and general patient registration and patient flow in the hospital. Mr K Haragopala, VP-Commercials took a dedicated session to brief the students on the nuances of a hospital Inventory Management System, highlighting CARE Hospitals’ inventory days record of 17 days, which is on par with international standards and, perhaps, even better than many. The students had a hospital tour of CARE Banjara also.
