CARE Hospitals, Hi-tech City, Gives Medical Support to Chak de India Ride 2

The Hyderabad Bicycling Club (HBC) is the world’s largest cycling club online. The club organized a Chak De India 2 ride on 7th August 2016, which was flagged off by Mr MG Gopal, Special Chief Secretary,Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Mr NVS Reddy, Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited and Mr Stephen Yarwood, former Mayor of Adelaide, Australia from HBC’s bike station at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. CARE Hospitals, Hi-tech City gave medical support to the Chak de India Ride. Two medical stations were set up, one at 10 kms distance and the other at HBC station. The medical support team comprised an emergency physician, paramedical personnel, physiotherapist, 15 nurses and organizing members. Around 2000 people participated in this event — 500 in 50k ride and 1500 in 10k ride, including schoolchildren, professional riders and different corporate employees. 

 Dr Rajeev Menon, Medical Director, CARE Hospitals, Hi-tech City launched the program.
