Dr. Prasad Patgaonkar's journey of excellence in the field of orthopaedics & spine surgery began decades ago when he completed his MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune, India and DNB in Orthopaedics from the prestigious Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai. 

He further underwent specialist training in various sub-specialties of spine surgery in India & abroad. He received a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery from Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, a Fellowship in Spinal Deformity Surgery from SRH Klinikum, Heidelberg University, Germany, a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from Daradia-The Pain Clinic, Kolkata, a Fellowship in Endoscopic Spine Surgery from Cess Shot, Miraj and Good Doctor Teun Teun Hospital, Anyang, South Korea. 

Over the years, he has amassed extensive experience in performing endoscopic awake and aware, safe spine surgery, minimal access spine technologies for discectomies, laminotomy and foraminotomy for stenosis, disc replacement, spinal fusion, spinal deformity corrections and many more procedures.

He runs a spine fellowship programme through which 12 fellows and over 15 observers from all over India have been trained for endo/ MIS spine surgery in the past six years. He is a National Faculty for endospine surgery and live surgeries in various national conferences and workshops for the last 5 years. His annual live surgery workshops have been attended by delegates from across the globe. With many awards and accolades to his credit, he has established himself as a leading voice in the field of Spine Surgery in Central India.
