Dr. Gourav Gupta is a highly accomplished Radiation Oncologist with over 15 years of experience in advanced cancer care, bringing extensive expertise in precision radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and multidisciplinary oncology management. He completed his MBBS from N.S.C.B. Medical College, Jabalpur, and MD in Radiation Oncology from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in establishing and operationalizing advanced radiation oncology facilities and developing academic training programs in oncology.
Prior to joining CARE Hospitals, Dr. Gupta served as Senior Consultant & Head of Radiation Oncology at Balco Medical Centre, Raipur, where he played a pivotal role in setting up the department from inception and leading comprehensive cancer care services. He has also held leadership positions at Priyamvada Birla Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Capitol Hospital, Jalandhar, and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi.
His clinical expertise encompasses advanced radiation therapy techniques including IGRT, IMRT, SRS, SRT, SBRT, respiratory-gated radiotherapy, and brachytherapy. He is highly experienced in the management of complex oncological cases and has contributed significantly to clinical research, with multiple publications in reputed national and international journals. An active member of prestigious organizations such as ESMO, ASCO, AROI, and the Brachytherapy Society of India, Dr. Gupta is also a recognized faculty member and speaker at national oncology forums.
