Dr. K V Shivanand Reddy completed his MBBS from CMC Vellore, MS in General Surgery from JSS Medical College, Mysore and MCh in Neurosurgery from NIMS Hyderabad. He further received a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in Minimally invasive spine surgery from South Korea, and in Cerebrovascular surgery from Canada. 

He has extensive experience in performing complex brain and spine surgeries such as Neuro-vascular surgeries, Minimally invasive spine surgeries, Brain and spine trauma surgeries, Stroke treatment, Brain aneurysm surgeries, Complex spine surgeries, Skull base tumors, Neuro-oncology, Epilepsy surgeries, Deep brain stimulation and more. 

Apart from his clinical expertise, Dr. K V Shivanand Reddy is actively involved in research work and academics and has got numerous papers, presentations, and publications to his name. He is a recipient of various national and international awards including the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award 2021 for Young Achiever in Neurosurgery. He is an active member of the Neurological Society of India (NSI), Telangana Neuroscientists Association (TNSA), and Andhra Pradesh Neuroscientists Association (APNSA).
