Dr. Deepti Mehta is a well-known consultant Ophthalmologist in India. She has been working as a consultant for 10 years and is considered one of the most famous Ophthalmologists in Hyderabad. She pursued her MBBS from Nepal Medical College, Kathmandu, and later earned a DNB specialisation in Ophthalmology from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. She also did a diploma in diabetes from Medvarsity, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, fellowship in the retina at lVPEI Hyderabad.

She worked as a consultant at Sandhuram Lions Club Eye Hospital in Retina Department from Nov -2015 to Dec 2016. Also, she was a fellow at the Retina department, at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital from July 2013 –to July 2014 (1 year). Dr. Deepti Mehta was a consultant at Mehta Eye Hospital, Ranchi from March 2011 till May 2012 (14 Months). She specialised in evaluating retinal diseases like diabetes, hypertensive retinopathy, vascular occlusions, proliferative vitreoretinopathies, retinal detachments, vitreous pathologies and glaucoma. She also provides the facility for small incision cataract surgery. She can interpret UBM, corneal topography and retinal diagnostics like OCT, B-scan, and fluorescein angiography. 

Dr. Deepti Mehta has given a presentation at Telangana Ophthalmic Conference from 5 to 7th August 2016 which was widely appreciated. The topics for her presentation were Orzudex in posterior uveitis, Postoperative endophthalmitis case series and CNVM in VKH. She also gave a presentation on the Diabetic retinopathy crossfire in Lvpei on 21st august 2016.
