State level Kho-Kho player’s left knee restored following a meniscus tear | Patient Testimonial

Santosh Murmu, a 17-year-old state-level kho-kho player, suffered a severe injury to his left knee during a game for Odisha. He was brought to CARE Super Specialty Hospital, Bhubaneshwar, for recovery. An MRI revealed a meniscus tear in the left knee, after which he was sent for a left lateral meniscus repair surgery. Following careful, extensive treatment and guided physiotherapy under Dr. Sandeep Singh, Consultant Orthopedics & HOD - Dept. of Sports Injury and Rehabilitation, he was discharged with full power & control over his limb. All expenses of the procedure were borne by the government of Odisha under a special scheme.
