Coronary Angiography

Coronary Angiography is a procedure that makes use of a special dye and x-rays to understand the blood flow in the arteries. It is used in diagnosing and treating the conditions of the heart. It is often done along with cardiac catheterization that involves inserting a thin flexible tube known as catheter from groin or arm into either side of the heart. A mild sedative is given before the procedure to help the patient relax.
