Brief Profile

Dr. Shubham C. Padmawar has extensive experience in complex trauma and joint-related issues. Dr. Shubham Padmawar has done his MS in orthopedics from Mumbai followed by Hands-on training in complex trauma in Sion Hospital Mumbai. Dr. Padmawar has a focused interest in knee and Hip replacement Surgery and is one of the very few Replacement surgeons in Vidarbha who does Knee Replacement with the Subvastus Approach( One of the Proven approaches where there is no trauma to the muscles, muscles are not cut in order to get to the joint, which ensures that muscle integrity is intact). As muscle is left intact patients who have a total or partial knee replacement have less pain, better muscle control, and overall faster recovery.

He has a keen interest in Sports medicine and with the help of new evolving modalities, he treats sports injuries. He is a member of the prestigious SICOT International Organisation. He is an active member of the Indian Orthopedic Society and Maharashtra Orthopedic Society.

He has treated many Complicated Bone diseases such as Chronic Osteomyelitis, Nonunion, Malunion, and various deformities of the upper and lower limbs. Dr Padmawar has many publications to his name and continues to work in research and education.
