Advanced robotic knee surgery introduced at Vizag hospital
A Medial Stabilised (Medial Pivot) Knee Design, integrated with advanced robotic-assisted surgery, was introduced at Care Hospitals, Visakhapatnam, marking a significant milestone in joint replacement care. The programme was launched under the leadership of Dr. Ravi Chandra Vattipalli, Chief Robotic Knee Replacement Surgeon. It combines the principles of a Medial Stabilised implant with VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution.
The Medial Stabilised philosophy, when executed with robotic precision, allows us to recreate the biomechanics of a natural knee more accurately, Dr. Ravi Chandra said in a statement on Wednesday. Dr. Garlapati Sukesh Reddy, COO, Care Hospitals, was present.
