CARE Hospitals hits 500 mark in Robotic Knee Replacement surgeries

CARE Hospitals, Health City, in Visakhapatnam announced an achievement in medical infrastructure, having successfully completed 500 robotic knee replacement surgeries within a single year.

Dr. Ravi Chandra Vattipalli, Orthopaedic Surgeon and Chief Robotic Knee Replacement Surgeon, said that technology has significantly enhanced surgical precision and patient outcomes. The hospital recently became the first in Andhra Pradesh to implement the advanced Medial Stabilised (Medial Pivot) Knee Design, further expanding its technical capabilities.

G. Sukesh Reddy, Chief Operating Officer, CARE Hospitals, added that the facility remains committed to delivering world-class, patient-centric orthopaedic care to the region. Hospital experts advised the public not to ignore persistent knee pain, adding that early clinical intervention, weight management, and physiotherapy are essential to addressing the rising incidence of knee osteoarthritis linked to ageing, sedentary lifestyles, and physically demanding occupations.
