The 12 -KM long Cycle Rally began at CARE Hospitals Hitech City till Hyderabad Central University and culminated at CARE Hospitals Hitech City.
CARE Hospitals Hitech City organized a Cyclothon to create awareness about Cancer today. The event was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Police-Madhapur K. Shilpavalli, and Dr. A.M.V.R. Narendra, HOD Hematology and BMT marking World Cancer awareness month. The 12 -KM long Cycle Rally began at CARE Hospitals Hitech City till Hyderabad Central University and culminated at CARE Hospitals Hitech City. The event was attended by Mr. Rajeev Chourey, HCOO, CARE Hospitals Hitech City, Dr. Sudha Sinha, HOD of CARE Cancer Institute Dr. AMVR. Narendra, Dr. Satish Pawar, Senior Surgical Oncologist , CARE Hospitals, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Police-Madhapur K. Shilpavalli said, “This Cyclothon showcases the unwavering determination of our community to overcome cancer. The enthusiastic participation of citizens is a symbol of hope. I am honored to support CARE Hospitals in their pursuit to defeat this disease.”

Unfortunately, 60% of these cases are diagnosed in the advanced stages due to a lack of public awareness. To combat cancer, we must work together to increase awareness and educate people.
